Ecology: Typical Salt Spring mixed forest with hardwoods and conifers on the lower (eastern) portion of the Reserve and dry Douglas-fir and alder stands on the uphill (western) portion.
Public Trails: A walk on the entire trail system can be completed in half an hour but we suggest you allow at least an hour to enjoy the native vegetation.
Acquisition: Donated anonymously to the SSI Conservancy in June 2008. Portions of the reserve were clear-cut prior to donation of the land. These areas are being cleared of Scotch Broom and replanted with native species.
