Monday, March 13 – Species at Risk Fair

1 – 3 pm, SS Elementary School multi-purpose room

Thanks to a Habitat Stewardship Program grant from the Government of Canada, we have been studying Species at Risk with five classes from the Salt Spring Elementary School for the last 3 months. This work is culminating in our Species at Risk Fair. 42 Species at Risk (from the Threaded Vertigo and the Blue-grey Taildropper to the iconic Southern Resident Killer Whale) that live on or around Salt Spring Island, will be represented through the students’ research projects.

Please join us for an informative and engaging afternoon.  Refreshments provided.
